Unknown shorted relay H302 in driver's foot-well

While diagnosing my Airbag 3-blink fault, I found this "yellow" wire shorting out (just stuck in) a the "blue" connector connected to black relay labelled, "H302" ?

What's the function of relay H302 it is shorting ?

TIA,
:-) neil

PS: if you know which module is the Airbag diagnostic, please let me know, or where to look.

That is the starter cut relay for the security system. The yellow wire is from an aftermarket security system to disable the starter when the alarm is set off.

The car doesn't have an aftermarket security system- at least one that I know of. I have the original keys, and no key FOB as well.

The yellow-wire isn't even crimped or soldered into place.

Basically, someone cut a piece of wire, stripped the ends, and shoved it into the connector pins. It basically bypasses the relay.

Should it wiggle free, I assume I won't be able to start the car.

Yikes!

PS: now where is that airbag diagnostic controller . . .
