Blitz Racing Meter SD Gauges

I'm looking for new 60mm, standalone, gauges for my '93.
The Blitz Racing Meter SD series looks like an attractive gauge, with a black dial, white markings, and red needle which looks like it would match the factory dash well.
However, the published info doesn't talk about the backlight (night) color.
Does anyone have experience with these? What is the color you see at night? I'm expecting the quality to be high, but a real-world input would be great.

The runner up I'm also considering is the STRI X-Line V2 series, with a clear lens, black & white, such as #19563 and 19565. I have heard these are amber at night, or possibly red.

Reading about your experiences with either would be great!

I believe they just light up white, at least that's what the picture shows.

Blitz gauges are going to be far superior in quality to the STRI gauges as well. It's a good choice.

The research I've done suggested that the Blitz were a better gauge, probably in the same league as Defi, Greddy, and Apexi. Their prices certainly suggest so!

Yeah, the web site pics suggested lighting up white, but I thought I saw a pic, or heard somewhere, that they went amber for night, which would be awesome.

I was hoping to hear also from someone who is actually using these gauges, but it seems they are kinda rare.

Thanks for the inputs.

Speedhut are the only one I would suggest.

MR Rick:

I did find Speedhut's web site in my research, they look like nice gauges. However, I did not find any of their gauges in 60mm. Can you help with a source for these?

2 5/8" is the closest. You might have to trim you mounting hole a hair.

look at my build

Awesome build thread! You've taken it a lot further than I plan to go - I'm just adding a couple more gauges in a center speaker pod. Looks great.

Thanks!

The 2 5/8 should work for you then with very minor triming.
