Looks great! Now you just need to polish the top of that Petitt IC, polish your alternator and get an Efini Y-pipe.

Petitt Racing CoolChargeII SMIC.

I have one for sale if you are interested but the pipes need to be modified to work with an FD again as it was re-worked slightly for another vehicle.

EDIT: Is that an idler pulley you have that replaced your airpump or something else running off the front drive?

Here's one of my shade tree water pump idler bracket (and you can even see the Y-pipe) now that the air pump is gone.
The bracket looks better than the two right angle pieces I had on there.

Pettit cool charge II

The IC is the old school Pettit Cool Charge II. I originally had a polished one but sold it to put money towards a motor. That was one of the biggest mistakes I made.
Here is the IC I used to have in Toms car. This is what my car aspires to be.

Yep, that's in the works. I have an alternator housing ready to go, figured I'd redo the bearings while it's apart, the IC I started on but this polishing stuff is allot of work so James will be getting it soon. I've got my eye out for an Efini Y-pipe and that will do me for awhile. My next project is to get the tired turbo's off and put the Pettit High flows on. Thanks for the positive comments. Jack

I have the TB polished and ready to go in, the storm off the coast has cooled things down but puts the threat of rain at any minute in the mix. I didn't want to have to get into burping the cooling system in the middle of it raining. So you like the filters ! ! ! ! it cuts down on the air noise that comes out of the CRV and blow off valve. I'll probably pull them when I get the new turbo's on.

LOOKING GOOD!

Yeah, after taking the uim on and off a couple times, it's pretty easy for me now haha.

I just polished my UIM recently too, haven't done the TB yet tho.

I may do the TB tomorrow. I have to write down my TBS reading then setup the polished one for the same reading and maybe just a couple small adjustments. (got my fingers crossed on that one. Jack

Yep daily driver. I am so not wanting to change out that TB. The car idles nice and works very well. I have no idea what adjustments will have to be made if it's different from the one on the car now......damn damn damn.

I have four filters on mine too. Gots a problem with that . I am j/k. I love what your stuff is looking like. That UIM made a hugh difference, I am aspiring to get too where yours is at least. Can't wait to see what happens when you get the high flow turbos on there. Have you thought of getting the helicopter E-shaft as your next upgrade? I heard it nets like 100+ extra hp to the wheels. Have fun.

some people are so negative......do something you think is a good thing and all they can do is point out what you haven't done. Buy me an Efini Y-pipe I'll get it polished and put on soon as I can. As for the TB it's ready to go on.....waiting on someone to do it for me. You busy ? ? ?

I dumped the helicopter e-shaft idea for the boomin stereo setup. I figure the net gain on the 22" sub's will far surpass the output of the helicopter mod.

Thanks for the comp's. polishing wasn't my main objective but turned out to be a means to an end (learning the in's and out's of how to do it.) I got into a slight sideline of trying help members get there stuff done for a reasonable price while I learn.

The Efini crossover pipe does not fit with this IC. It requires cutting to make it fit (which is why you see the stock plastic Y-pipe used with this IC).

CantGoStraight,

Looks good. I hope my polished parts look as good once everything goes back together. Here's a shot of my old setup (with the Efini crossover pipe cut):

http://mahjik.homestead.com/files/FD...8/MVC-005F.JPG

I took off a little over an inch to make it fit. The main problem is that I cut off the bevel which help keeps the IC coupler on. I didn't have any problems with it coming off, but I sill may go back and cut off another inch and then add the ending bevel part back on.

I'm not sure what it is with the Efini we had to trim Tom's piping too (mot an inch) but some none the less to work with the Efini. I notoced you trimmed you duct as did Tom and put the rubber edge seal around it ???? My duct is untrimmed and seems to fit well (there is a gap on the passenger side though where the duct extends out and is flat. Thanks for the compliment's as i hate taking apart a car that is running fairly decent just to add something that doesn't add to function. I was going to get the ports matched and polish the interior of the runners but will wait till I can install the 95 LIM. Jack
