black calipers on red FD3S

hey guys... just wondering if someone had a pic of black painted mazda calipers on a red FD. My FD is red, but was thinking of painting the calipers red, and sand the mazda logo like most folks do, but I thought it might look fugly if the reds on both don't match. I might go with black that way there is a clean contrast...

if anyone had a pic or pics to share, that would be great... thanks.

never seen it but it sounds like it would look good. somewhat understated for my taste, but that is probably what you are going for.

Would this help?

I used semi-gloss exterior paint. I have no problem with the temps either. I painted them about 4 moths ago and they still look good.

thanks guys! That's exactly what I was looking for! hondasR4kids, that is exactly what I want mine to look like! They look pretty neat. I also have the stock chromes, so it will look exactly like that. Yep, that's what I'll go with. I can't believe I was thinking about red calipers on a red car

thanks again guys...

I first got them sand it very well, then polish the "Mazda" logo. then paint them over the whole thing. When done just sand the "Mazda" are with very fine sand paper.

Glad I can help

That's a nice look. Don't forget to scrape the rust off the rotors and repaint them as well.
