Big idle problem

Ok I am totally clueless on what to check next and/or what could even BE the problem.

Symptoms:

1) car will not idle immediately on a cold start possibly due to other issues I will list below, after starting/dying a few times and keep blipping the throttle till it warms up some it will idle but terribly crappy

2) there is NO vacuum in the manifold whatsoever. My boost gauge will read 0-2 inhg of vacuum when i finally do get it to idle, un hooking one of the vac hoses and putting a mityvac or finger over yields the same results, so I know it is not my boost gauge.

3) Worst throttle response known to man, if i blip the throttle it will rev but it wont like it, flooring it fast will not even rev the motor also presing throttle down slow will not rev the motor either

4) when I DO rev the motor, on decel when the throttle plates snap closed I get down to -10 vac but subsequently rises right back up to 0

5) I've double checked all vac lines and blockoff plates, hondabonded and capped all unused vac nipples and there is no hissing sound as if there was a vac leak when the motor is running,

I know there is probably something I have left out but thats as good as any to get started. Here is some more info to help:

Mods: PFC, r85 kit, dual oil cooler kit, a/c, p/s removal, AWS/DT/ACV/EGR blocked off as well as the charcoal can, PCV, and all of rats nest obviously, Greddy wp/alt pullies, greddy elbow and 2 row IC, Koyo radiator with the AST elimination kit, 1000 cc primaries, 1600cc secondaries with the KG fuel rails and braided lines and rebuilt stage 2 motor from rx7store with 0 miles on it. Thats it that would matter I think for this issue.

The TPS hasnt moved since I took it off my motor in the first place, The map in the PFC was the one off of Jasons single t78 at least thats what he said he put in there. The aid bleed screw on the bottom of the TB is all the way closed due to the dt plates being removed. Get spark and the motor turns over great with strong cranking. The CAS are on correct and working.

I'm really at a loss as to what it could be. Could it be a timing problem? Could it be an ecu problem? I havent hooked up a commander or a datalogit to actually verify that the settings are what he said in the ecu or whatnot but any help would be appreciated. Love to see the guru's hack this problem down

Any more questions just ask and ill respond at night

only thing i could suggest is to check the L & U Intake manifolds for a leak this could cause you to have little or no vac.

Check the MAP sensor, the hose could have popped off.

map sensor is fine, its a brand new 3 bar and the hose is connected, and i feel/hear no air leaks between the manifolds

Anyone else have any ideas?

First off, what happened between it idling right and not idling right?

Hate to say it, but have you done a compression test? Start with the basics.

it never idled right in the first place, I said i COULD get it to idle terribly shitty and thats after starting/letting it die a bunch of times, it idle hunts and vac will go between 0 and 4 in, getting a comp test tomorrow so well see where it goes from there I guess I wanted to just figure that wasnt it because my motor is new with no miles but I guess not.

Also, is the PFC tuned for those huge primaries? You're gonna have a tough time getting reasonable idle with primaries that big. 850cc is about as big as you can go and still have a clean ~750 RPM idle. With those large primaries you'll have to bump up your idle speed quite a bit.

"The power FC isnt set for 3 bar

didn't turbojeff or someone else have trouble with a customer's car and this was the culprit (PFC / 3bar combination)?

Called jason yesterday and he said when he put the settings in my pfc that he almost surely forgot to put in the settings for a 3 bar map sensor and that must be why I see no difference in the car whether the vac line for the map sensor is on or off because the PFC cant even read the signal from it.

I really hope this is the problem, Christian (railgun) is coming over thursday with his datalogit and were gonna check everything out and set it to 3 bar and hope all goes well.

Still getting a compression check today anyways so its all good
