is it big enough

I am a big performance nut but also a musician. I want an rx-7 but i need to know if there will be enough space to lug around guitars and amps. I was wondering if you could fit at least one guitar in a seven (4'x16"x5"). maybe also an amp (2'x2'x6"). I would be willing to take out the back seats if that helps.

I don't know of any FD that has back seats. You might be able to fit the guitar in back of the front seats on the floor or compartment ledge. Your amp should be able to fit in the passenger seat area. The rear cargo area is useless for anything big or bulky.

The amp shouldn't have too much trouble if you lay it on its back. The hatch comes down steep, but not that steep. Might have a slight problem though if you a Touring with the Bose waveform system. Then again you wouldn't wanna take take that out since you are obviously such an audiophile . The guitar should be no problem. It might even fit into one of the bins if you pop that sucker open.

Redevvl- The some japanese FD's have back seats...

ox77- If you remove the rear strut tower bar you will be able to get the guitar in but it will be close, no need to remove the containers. Jesse

Well, there is a removable divider that seperates the hatch from the cabin area. If you take that off (which takes about 15 seconds, your case should fit fine. Put the amp in the front seat. The amp might even fit fine sitting on top of the storage bins, then you could put the guitar in the front seat.....anyway it should work ok

What part of Alabama are you from? I'm in Birmingham

They are crazy small but if you have small kids... You can fit, with comfort anyway, about 5 footish people (Most Japanese chicks fit ) is the limit, oh and car seats.
