Better light pattern for FD stock pop-up

Anyone know of a replacment lens for the stock FD pop up lights. I just installed a HID Plus Dual light kit for my FD.
The lights are super bright but the beam pattern is way out of control.

I thought I read in the forum of replacement lenes but I can't find who make them for HID kits

Matrix

I've seen these at a local auto store.

Does any one know if the FD lights are custom OEM or are they standard housings?

The HID bulbs they show are not HID.
HID bulbs don't have that blue tint on them

I guess the built in driving lights are the ones mounted in the lens.

Of course they're not HID, it's just a marketing gimmick. HID don't actually even have "bulbs" at all. I think he was just trying to show you a possible different housing/lens for the pop-ups since that's what you asked for, though I'm not sure those will fit.

Have not looked closely at the FD lens yet but I beleive they are custom made housings for the FD.

try asking one of the european rx7 owners of pics of their lenses. they have a different "diffraction grating" when compared to US spec lenses.

those housings will fit on a FC but not an FD, FD lights are diffrent from those of FC. unless ofcourse they have pictures of only the FC. i got those for my fc and they are a lot better then stock, though teh bulbs they give with teh kit kinda suck, the regular hiper whites are a lto better, and u dont get the blue rice look.
