VA Best year FD3S to get?

I am almost done restoring my FC3S and I was thinking of getting an FD to mess around with. What would you guys reccomend?

I mean, the s5 series for the FC3S RX-7s were the later model and best. Is this the same case for the FD but they years being in the 2000?

You live in North America. Your choice is 93-95 which is the series 6. The differences between the years are very small and are listed in the FAQ I believe.

I would get a 94 or 95 over the 93 because they have better interior plastics and better exterior paint.

i wouldn't worry about the plastics because you can refinish them and personally its not worth the extra $ to me just for something like that. I'm more than happy with my 93.

Searching will help you make a choice. Personally, if you are going to do moderate to extensive uprading go w/ a cheap, clean titled, clean carfaxed (no accidents) type. If you want to keep it stock or light mods. (reliability mods.) go w/ a Late 94 or 95 w/ same clean history report. G

If i got to do it all over, i would get a 95.

But since i did a tan to black interior, my interior is pretty damn good and since i take care of my paint, my paint is pretty damn good for 93 so im not complaining.

If you live overseas, try to get an 01 or an 02 lol.

Hard but thats what i would try to get.

Find the best condition (inside and out) 93-95 you can afford. Most 93's by this time have had a facelift of the few early issues being pointed out. However, personally, I think the textured plastic interior of the 94-95's look like crap.
