Best sounding Intake

What is the best sounding intake. I've made my decision on which works the best, hence the M2 IMO, considering its not open, but how does the M2 sound?

Regards

Intake sounds? You should be more concerned with functionality and fitment.

The only thing you have to worry about is the line from the air pump venting to atomosphere. With the open air intakes, it can make a "mooing" sound, but that can be muffled.

Your not going to hear much of anything from an intake, You have to remember it goes through the turbos first... Your not going to hear the roar most N/A cars make from an intake. You might hear the turbos a little better but then again they whine pretty good with the stock air box.

Sure if you don't mind rebuilding your turbos often. The point of the filters is to add longevity to your turbos. If you don't care how long they last, pull off the filters.

You don't drive a honda.

You don't hear the intake, except maybe for the airpump...which can be kept quiet

The reason i ask is cos i owned an MR2 Turbo for 2 years. On the MR2 you can hear both the intake making a deep hissing sound (not an NA roar) and the turbos spinning up and down. But i think this is probably due the the engine being behind you, its basically behind your left ear.

I used to have an intake that was made buy Pettit or maybe it was PFS. Anyway I was not happy with that.......Seemed like the only air that the "Cold Air Intake" was getting, was HOT.

Absolutely correct!...I would be the "jspec guy" that does not use air filters...BUT, I have EASY access to good turbos AND have my single turbo kit waiting to get put on. DO NOT DO THIS IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR TURBO LONGEVITY.
