Best manual boost control.....

Hey guys what a good manual boost control to get....? I've thought about the Turbo XS manual for $80.00. I don't know....will the manual boost control work well with a 3rd gen...? I'm alos worried about boost spike especially between tthe turbo transitions. Also If I set the boost to 13 pounds using the manual boost control will it hold boost through out each of the turbo transitions? I'm on a budget so help me out guys....I want to raise the boost a few pounds SAFELY......!!!! I'm open to any suggestions......and as always thanks fellas....!! Tony

I have a manual boost controller per the lightning in a world of thunder site....its just valves and some larger vacuum hose...I dont have any spiking over 13.5 lbs and have the boost set at 12.5...but it is honestly very steady...much better than before.

Do it and you will be a happy man...I think I paid 18 bucks for the parts....but I also have an upgraded ECU.

rx dogma says...if you dont have the fuel...dont do it.

where can you buy the dawes boost controller? are the manual boost controller as good as the profec B? cause if i can save a couple hundred bucks and perform the same function that seems like a better idea. what are the downsides to the manual boost controller? i just want to be in complete control over the boost cause i will be running on the stock intercooler with midpipe downpipe and exhaust, and intake and ecu. any opinions? thanks

Skoobahead and I ordered our's at about the same time. We have almost the exact same mods. and the Dawes has worked excellent in contolling boost and eliminating boost spiking !! Order one now.

try http://www.usa.norgren.com paid $26 had it come with a spring set for 5 to 35 psi, you can order the spring you want if you don't you'll get 100psi spring. pull to unlock and turn push down to lock best I've seen so far and not expensive high quality not ****.

I have the Home Depot Deluxe model. Works great and is cheap.

www.dawesdevices.com and see why this controller is better than the home depot valves.
