Been looking and searching for my idle problemo
Ok ill start from the top. First of all i have a bad idle. I have messed with all the screws and that didnt help. The idle is going in a patern like this. After its warm the idle will go from 1000 to abou 1400 and then frop to 1000 and then go back up to 1400, and keeps doing this. I sprayed a **** load of carb cleaner and i coudnt really tell if there was a boost leak. If i pull off the map sensor the problem goes away. But it idles really rich as expected to. But when i come to a stop light sometimes the problem goes away and it will idle smoth and then once i hit the gas again it goes back to that pattern. So i figured i have a boost leak so i took off the UIM and started to look for loose hoses, and not one was disconnected. SO i started to make sure all of them were going to the right place and all of them are. By the way they are all brand new silicone hoses. So there are not hoses that are loose or not put on tight. WHat else could be wrong. I check the check vavules and non of them were put on right, and i dont have any error code. I am really mad at my car. What else could be causing my idle problem. I also check that the throttle sensor was getting the right voltage and it was, and check that the map sensor and the o2 are in working condition and they are. What else am i missing. If you have any ideas i would love to hear them. SOrry for the long post but i am trying to tell you guys eveything.

Do you have a PFC? If so then let it bounce for 10 min or so and see if it will smooth out. Then take it on the highway and really nail it. Worked for me... Oh yeah then turn on the a/c and do it.

A bad throttle control sensor, would be my guess, but you already checked that, are you sure you dont have a vac leak somewhere, it, doesn't really sound like one... but stranger things have happened!

What vacuum lines be causeing a bad idle can i eliminate some of them. It will make me feel better if i can do this before i put it all back togeather.

This may be a bit wild, but what the heck.
Could it be that your Thermal wax/fast idle cam is not always releasing correctly. This will cause the idle to (most of the time) be higher and might mean that thottle position sensor is telling the ECU that your not at idle, and that would make the o2 curcuit hunt for leaner operation causing a fluctuating rpm.
