why you have a valve looking like thing on the hose to the top manifold?

As simple as, a previous owner had it on there. It doesnt restrict air flow, so i would hope it is a filter or something useful lol

the factory air bypass valve says "ABV" on it if you look closely. the factory charge relief says "CRV" on it.

If you listen very carefully while doing that, a miniature blow off valve sound can be heard. Or its just me that thinks of car analogies at my girlfriend's expense.
