here is the basics of blow off valves. i used my RX-7 but it should apply to most turbocharged cars.

why you have a valve looking like thing on the hose to the top manifold?

As simple as, a previous owner had it on there. It doesnt restrict air flow, so i would hope it is a filter or something useful lol

Ill keep making videos. If you guys can do me a favor and link to them if you are on other car forums. Im making some of my videos about generic concepts that apply to the rx-7.

I want to build up a small audience so i can make some quality videos.

the factory air bypass valve says "ABV" on it if you look closely. the factory charge relief says "CRV" on it.

If you listen very carefully while doing that, a miniature blow off valve sound can be heard. Or its just me that thinks of car analogies at my girlfriend's expense.
