Is that white smoke at start-up just condensation or what?

Probably just a little heavy on the premix. Not uncommon on cold startups (IMO). Sound clips to come later today. Got the exhaust installed late last night and it looks (and sounds) Amazing!

Cold start up as well as premix will make it smoke a little in the beginning. Only 200 miles on the new streetported motor. As you see, as it starts warming up it goes away. I never knew my fans were that loud lol.

They are modified to run all the time to keep temps down.

Ok everyone,

Here's a few pics of the final install along with comparisons between the RB dual tip and Amemiya exhaust. Actually very similar volumewise with a little deeper tone in the Amemiya. Overall I really love the look of the turndown tail.

Video clip of the Rb Dual Tip

Clip of the Amemiya Exhaust with my wife at the controls!

My apologies for the video quality, but I think you get the overall idea!

Cheers!

So are you running HFC or mid-pipe? Sounds like more going on there than a stock cat.

It's an old SR Motorsports resonated midpipe. Looks like an old cherry bomb glasspack, but shaped like an RX-7 midpipe. Not sure how much resonater is still intact, since it's gotten progressively louder over the years, but hey, it's a rotary right? You're supposed to hear it BARK!

No complaints here! I love the sound. I could tell it sounded wayyy too good to be just the axle back. Exhaust looks and sounds great though!

Nice turnout for that exhaust. I'm in the process of finding one of those for myself.

rb was better sounding. and better looking.

drill out the rivets on the re-a badge and put that on the rb. its the only thing cool about that exhaust. that and the fact you got it for cheap
