I rented the O'Reilly tie rod puller tool on my outer tie rods and it worked well. Part number 67008 in the Rental Tools section of oreillyauto.com. There's another rental tool for the inner tie rod if you're removing it from the steering rack. I don't know which tools you might need for the other ball joints or suspension arms, I've only swapped out the inner and outer tie rods.

In case it helps someone else out in the future, here are the tools I used. Both fit well and worked easy-as-pie. I don't remember the exact prices but they were around $20-30 each at a local independent parts store.
I didn't try it, but you might be able to use the ball joint puller on the tie rod ends as well.
