Bad Vibration from rear..... ideas?

after playing with my car a little last night(couple races).... i noticed that i was gettin a vibration from the rear that felt exactly like it felt when i developed a lump/"titty" in my tire last summer...
so today i jack up the car inspect all the tires and theyre perfect no lumps or anything... so i looked around for anything obvious(axles/diff/trailing arms etc) and everything is once again fine... i let my car down take it for a test drive and the vibration is still there, i was pretty sure it was the tires because it vibrates once for every full tire rotation, but like i said before the tires a fine.....
any ideas on what can be going on??

It's hard to give an exact diagnosis from a distance, but ckeck that you haven't lost any wheel weights. Other than that, maybe a wheel bearing.

Ditto. I had a similar prolbem on my Honda a while ago. The weight distribution was horribibly out of wack on one of my tiers and required several weights on one side to ballance it. when the weights fell off and there was a slight vibrition, but i do mean slight. One other thing i would check, is if your tirers are sitting tight and flush on your hubs. if they are lose or on an angle, that will definately cause a vibtarion every rotation.

A bent rim will also cause a shake. IME it's more noticeable at high speeds.

It won't cost much to have you tires balanced. Start there.

thanx for the suggestion, but i doubt its a bend rim because the vibration stays constant from 5mph to 55mph... thanx anyways though

Check your universal joint on the drive shaft. You should be able to grease it. Have you changed your diff fluid?
