I think the quote breakdown is the following:

6hrs to remove/replace OMP (that includes taken the turbo, water pump assembly out.)

4hrs to remove/replace OMP lines (I think they're including this just in case they might break during OMP replacement).

It adds up close to 10 hrs to me. I don't think you could easily remove the OMP w/o removing the turbo assembly. I could be wrong but I think the front compressor housing is in the way.

As for the price for the OMP, i think its about right since last time I checked was around $1500 and that wasy 1.5yrs ago. Based on the increases in the past 10 months...i could see it being $2000. Heck, stock factory twin turbos are retail for $4400 right now....

Maybe I just have smaller hands, but I have pulled the OMP on the car without removing the turbos. I was checking an oiling issue at the time. The OMP was fine and I ended up re-installing it. But, what you have set out may be the service parameters for that job.

The dealer sayed on books it was a 13 hour job @ 75 dollars a hour and 2050 for the omp.
