Bad coolant sensor?
Start the car, drive for about 60 seconds, and the red light and annoying buzzer go on for the "add coolant" alarm. Added coolant, no change. No leaks from the car, parked in same place every day, no fluids at all on the ground. Buzzer sounds for about 5 minutes, then goes off by itself. It can also be remedied by restarting the car a couple of times. Any ideas as to how to fix this problem? Is it a bad coolant level sensor?

Is your fluid level full? How much coolant do you have to add when you do fill it? I'd try to thoroughly burp the system first, and then try replacing the sensor.

I'll try flushing the system tonight. If that's not the problem, what could be? Could the radiator have failed? The mechanic said about 10k miles ago that it was on the downhill slide, but he also said it would last at least 40k miles more. I just replaced the air separator tank. The temps don't go skyrocketing; they rise to operating temperature and then stay steady, so I don't think the car is overheating.
Thanks all.
Thanks all.

Go outside and unplug it, the buzzer will go off. The actual sensor can wear too, and its cheap so it doesnt hurt to replace it if the burping and flushing doesnt do it.
