Backfire

An overload of fuel. It gets forced out during the exhaust cycle and is ignited in the exhaust system. My car has been runnig pig rich and backfiring big time for a while due to a bad intake air thermosensor "code 11". I am in the process of fixing that now. That seems to be my cause but I am sure there are other causes.
