B&M New Volt installation

I am preparing to install the New Volt in my FD. I have the B&M universal instructions, and the Factory manual and wiring diagram.

Can anyone help me with any FD specific instructions and or experiences?? Just being my usual careful self. Thanks for any info in advance.

Mike

I know there are some japanese companies which sell this product (under their name,...possibly licensed to do so).

From what I can recall, you splice the supply line to the coil packs for the B&M to fit in. The red wire goes to the harness side of the supply line and the orange wire (B&M) goes to the coil.

According to Z-28 of the mini FD3S manual, it's the B/W wire on connector B1-14. IIRC, I spliced mine after the harness; that is, between the harness and the coils. To mount the B&M, I mounted it on an aluminum plate which, in turn, is mounted onto the frame.

Thx...that'll be the work of Duane @Crooked Willow. http://www.crookedwillow.com/intercool.htm

I was one of the lucky few who got one from him...i believe Atihun is making one to fit the CWR IC.
