slight difference between the ones you show with it and teh ones without it. Not even close to the same IC or intakes. Will it work with all combos?

IMO, nothing there looks better than some non functional jewlery. But

No it will not work with all combos it says that in the post. And no its nto just a piece of jewlery it eliminates the stock air duct which distributes air to both filters and intercooler. This will eliminate that clsoe the air duct hoel providing the intercooler with 100% of the air coming in. I would not recommend this mod with stock intake. However with aftermarket filters would be a different story.

What would be the difference.....It would eliminate the use of it but you could still use it for looks. Would still be able to mount in the same place and everything.

Comes in different colors. The shrouds are brand new they are sitting at the shop as a piece of aluminum block that will be made when you order it. "We won't make it until yo order it" - jack in the box lol

how does it block all the air with 3 holes in it? And you must mean it is in teh FS post correct? cause it doesn't say that above. FWIW: I amnot bashing it i have made my own undertray and top tray a year ago. for a fmic though. what do you use to seal the top square hole from the stock crossover for the intake? something more flush i assume

The 3 holes has nothing to do with the air duct. The stock air duct has a hole the size of abotu 2x2 inches or something. The kit comes with a plate that covers that hole up, which then won't allow any air out forcing it all to go to the intercooler. Take off you air duct and you'll see which hole i'm talkign about.

haha answered it while i was editing !!

and i don't have the air vent as i am single. But i know what hole you mean

If you could incorporate a heat shield for a certain intake ( I.E. Damians style) i think you would have a real winner.

Actually i'm in the making of a heat shield. But that is a lot mroe complicated seeing that almost no 2 intake setups are the same. Especially my HKS setup that is a horrible setup. Well not a horrible setup but very weird curved i tried damiens heat shield wasn't even close to fitting with my intake.

Here is a pic of my cover

Custom made by Garfinkle.

I initially got it thinking that it would lower my coolant temp.. But I don't think just the cover cooled it down..

Thats because you have a front mount. The whoel purpose of the shroud i made is to eliminate teh stock air duct tract and give it all to the SMIC
