AVC-R not working...

Everything is hooked up correctly as the install manual reads, I even triple checked everything but its not turning on. One thing I noticed in the manual where is shows to hookup the power wire for the unit it should be on the 2nd largest plug for the ecu which in the manual it states has 11 wires top and bottom, it shows hook it up to the eleventh wire on the bottom but I dont have an elenth wire there, so naturally I go to the next one over...?! But its like no power...Anyone have this problem ? Its a '93 base and it looks as though that 11th wire was never there and has never been there... I might try wiring that to the power on my cd player and see if it comes on...Uuuggghhh

Ok if I hook up the "power wire" from AVC-R to the 10th slot on the ECU harness it runs my fuel pump non-stop, So Im obviously not supposed to get power supply from the fuel pump... Im conused... Im going to hook up and Ohmeter and find the "real" power source that the ECU uses and try tapping into that...

Are you using those wire splicers? If so, you may want to either tug on each end of the wire(s) or crimp down a little harder on the splicers.

Also, make sure you are looking at the actually ECU wires correctly. When I installed mine I had to wire it twich as I was looking at it backwards. What I mean is, the pins on the ECU are backwards of the pins when looking at the connector. Make sure you are counting as on the ECU not as on the connector face.
