i have the autometer carbon fiber water temp gauge. it reads from 100-250f. the back lighting matches the orange dash lighting, but the mechanicle hand reads a little off. like 5 degree's cooler. im happy with mine.

I personally think you should go with the Defi D series temp gauge. I got mine and its exact as far as I can tell, and it matches almost exact to the stock lighting. I'll hook u up with some pics if u want

Here's a noob question on the gauges, how do u know what color they will light up? Is that determined by the face of the gauge? is there some kind of color match chart I haven't seen or.....

Hehe thanks ahead of time

Most gauges have removable bulbs. These bulbs can be covered with little elastic colored covers. They are usually included with the gauges.

yeah, this is how autometer gauges work but it is different for other brand.

you don't have the choice of the color.
autometer gives you both a orange or green cover

i have put autometer gauges on both my FDs. BOTH boost gauges started sticking, and water temp gauge would jump from time to time( I had 150-280) If you have more money to spend, I suggest greddy, or defi.
