When swaping the the man. tranny into a auto chassie do you have the splice the wires to make the reverse light work. And if so what are the wires?
This is what I followed. The green wires from the reverse switch have no polarity. it's simply a switch. One side to ground the other as described here. I never bothered with a clutch switch. PM me with details if you do.
OK, I got the reverse lights to work! Just take the brown/black wire out of the grey connector, connect it to one of the reverse wires from the tranny, and connect the other wire to a ground. I'm not sure on the color for the JDM though. To clarify, by grey connector, i mean x-14 connector

^ and the manual differential, clutch master cylinder, slave cylinder, clutch pedal and maybe the clutch switch (aside from the fluids and tools)
I think that's it...oh wait, you'll need:
1.Time
2. Patience
3. Daily Driver for when you get too frustrated to work on the car.
4. Alcohol to calm your nerves when you throw tools out of frustration.
5. A woman to make you breakfast, lunch, and dinner because it will take awhile
