AutoEXE intake: Fitment and performance experience?

Im considering to get myself one of these. It looks fantastic paired with a good SMIC. But how is the fitment and performance?

I am currently running a thicker Koyo radiator, with rx8 fans and im concerned if this makes it to tight. Anyonw tried this?

Also, done anyone have any indication on performance gains? Is it considered a no-no on stock ECU?

(I got a full 99-spec front conversion)

Much better performance especially with the 99' spec bumper. I have an aftermarket Abflug bumper. Air rams right into the Autoexe. It fits fine with some minor adjustments except for the height with the aftermarket radiator. I have a Fluidyne and had to drop the radiator a little by taking out the stock rubber washer bolts and had to trim the fan housing by cutting off about 3/4 inch of the edge that touches the radiator all the way around. This drops the fan housing down some. I too have the RX8 fans. My air intake temps definitely went down but I cannot give you an exact amount since I have many other mods in the intake (ceramic coating of entire intake system, insulated coating of internal surface of the Autoexe, a 500 cfm fan which is temperature controlled I mounted into the Autoexe to draw in cool air even at stop lights, bored throttlebody, honed UIM, dual bank SMIC, etc.) This will not have any detrimental effects when using a stock ECU since it just allows cooler air to enter the engine, which will be sensed by the air intake temperature sensor. Here are some pictures.

I'm happy with mine. Still better with a single than a big pod behind the radiator too, although with a proper low mount single you could box a K&N filter with twice the area.
