Auto Tuning TV

I just wanted to share the great news with all the FD owners. My 93 CYM RX-7 has been accepted to appear on the pilot episode of Auto Tuning TV. It's a new program that's going to be airing on the Discovery Channel. I don't have details of the air date yet, but as soon as I find out I will let everyone know. For those of you that know me, and those of you that don't here's a pic of my ride. Hopefully this little spot will help me pick up a few sponsorships in the future. Enjoy the pic.

C.J.

Can you do something about the yellow rims before the show? Afterall, you are *representin' *.

( I'm only teasing you mildly. Congrats on being selected. But I do think another set of rims would look less ricey.)

I'd definitely want to see the script before commiting. A tv show's idea of tuning is liable to be neon lights and dice! Good luck.

Agree. Are they going to be stripping your engine bay apart and re-doing things? Anyways, congrats.

those ricey rims you refer to are a set of 93 only Mazdaspeed Rims created by Rays Engineering. They are very far from ricey, ricey would be a set of spinner hub caps that my means I'm too cheap to go and buy a real set of rims. Although if I was cheap I wouldn't own an FD in the first place. If you'd like Mr. Ricey Rims, I'll buy you a set of rims so you don't feel left out. Anyways enough of my ranting, sorry about that I woke up on the wrong side of the bed today and I haven't had breakfast yet. Okay time for breakfast

I doubt they plan on doing neon lights and dice. But if it gets too cheesey for me I'll just drop the pedal to the floor and take off. I'll let you know the detail more after the shootl.

Yellow rims on a yellow car? C'mon. There's an old saying, "Good taste is knowing when to stop." Of course, we don't know anything about this show. It may be why they chose you. I hope you'll stop them before they start putting yellow trim in your interior.
