Red face Auto to standar.

Hey guys,
I am looking to pick up a cheap FD, but one of the reasos that is cheap is because it is auto.

Just wanted to know how much of a hastle is to convert an automatic car to a 5 speed .
In terms of money ,time and parts gattering.

Try searching, this subject comes up alot, there lots of info already posted.

money and time.... there's a lot of variables. used parts/new/ installation...your self install or shop prices. Rx7 shops are expensive, you have to find a specialist.
There's some things you can skip, like gauge cluster,engine harness, and the 4.1 differential you can keep the auto stuff, but it's not complete conversion.

you can find alot of parts on here and thru junkyards... car-parts.com
I did it and it cost me between $3000 - $4000

It's better to just buy a manual.
