auto to manual swap

I hope i'm not bringing up a topic that has already been thoroughly discuss, but can anyone tell me how difficult an automatic to manual conversion would be?

I only ask because i'm looking into a automatic FD right now and would like to swap it if I buy it.

This topic has been done to death. but not that hard to swap, IF you can find the parts, unless you have an *** loud of cash to buy them new.

+1 There's always something that needs to be replaced or bought that you didn't plan for.
