Auto Diff in Manual car for better cruising RPM

Will a whole diff assembly from an auto 99 spec car screw into a 99 spec manual car?

I think I read somewhere the flange is different. Are any any other differences?

Do the flanges interchange?

Also will the speedo sender from the automatic box go into a manual gearbox so the speedo still reads correctly?
