The canister has only one bracket on the left and the right side does not have one. Instead on the right is this 2 inch plate with two holes. Am I missing parts here? Isn't it suppose to have a bracket on both sides?

The sound is so much more mild with DP and I think it would still sound tame with a high flow cat. That's next.
There was one problem though with the install. Looking from the back there is a braket on the right with two holes only two inches long of the canister. Does this have to be bolted into the fender? I wasn't sure because it looks to me as if the plastic would melt around there.
Let me know so I can tighten that thing up and go out.
Thanks

the bracket should still be there but the rubber piece and hanger that bolts there you probably need...
bracket,hanger : N3A1-40-190 (bolted to frame)
hanger,silencer : N3A1-40-061B (rubber thing)
hanger : N3A1-40-290 (bolts to cat-back)
you could probably fabricate the darn things before you could get the parts, depending on your skills of course
and.... I love my RB dual cat back too... sounds incredible!

I just installed mine yesterday and as you stated, the right side of the canister has a bracket with 2 holes in it.
There should also be a hanger (as Amp said) on the passenger side of your car with a metal piece hanging from it. That piece has 2 holes in it. Racing Beat provides 2 bolts and 2 nuts to attach the bracket to this metal piece.

Thanks Drewroman,
that info helped a lot. Went down in the garage and the old stocker catback has the missing hanger:-)
No more bumming now, going to Fontana Raceway to the RX7 meet tomorrow....
RB should include that part with all the swaps we do.
