I have these mounts and they are really nice and solid. One thing if you are taller you will have to do quite a bit of modification to them to allow the seat to sit back far enough. I had to do a whole bunch of cutting and drilling of new holes.

We have made a set of mounts that now suit the taller person!

The price we have at the beginning is a little behind the times as aluminium prices have gone up, we have changed the design slightly (a straight bolt in job now) and they are anodised black to prevent oxidisation.

The braces are £50 per seat and the side mounts are £70 per seat. If you buy a set we give a discount of £10 so each seat is £110.

The set for the taller person is suitable for anyone up to 6'6" We have fitted a set for someone that is 6'3.5" and he didn't have them on the furthest setting.

any pics installed in a finished interior? so they do fit the recaro spg? the mounts that come with the seats make it hit the door panel.

Looking at a set now on my workbench I can attest that they are a very nice design and quite stout.

FWIW,

If someone has a set and is willing to ship them to me for a bit, I can probably have them made in the US. PM me about this and perhaps email me some photos and I can get a quote from my client with the CNC machines.

I am setup to get a variation of these produced, as I'll be using them in my time-attack FD with a Kirkey race seat.

If there is sufficient interest, please PM, and I will start a proper GB.

I got a reply from Jon recently on the mounts:

"We have changed the mounts to our new versions....and unfortunately with the increase in aluminium prices we have had to make a slight increase in the cost of the rails.

The prices for the side mounts are: £70

The prices for the braces are:£50

If you buy the 2 together we offer a £10 discount. So they come in at £110 for a set

So sending over to you would be £220 + shipping, which is £290. I have some being made at the moment. If you are able to get a couple of extra orders it will bring the cost of the postage down."

Anyone else want to get a set? the more people the better the price. Right now at that cost bride and nagisa rails from morejapan are more tempting but these would be more secure.
