AtomicRex Carbon Elbow

As part of our motor sport range, we will be soon launching a number of Carbon products. We have had a good deal of success with the LHD and RHD steering racks, and so it is time to start promoting some of the other items.

So to kick off the process we have designed and built a Carbon Compression Elbow.

The two flanges are turned from billet, and joined with carbon. The carbon is smooth on the inside so as to not hinder the laminar flow, and is shiny on the outside to aid extra bling

The cost of these items are £195 + P&P

Atomic Rex Carbon Elbow sounds aptly named to me. Too many acronyms just confuse me.

Nice looking part. Any way to include a bung for water injection and air temp sensor?

Thanks for the vote of confidence and the name change is duly noted...and changed!

Yes we can fit a number of bosses into the elbow, we are also looking to offer a flange for a bov if anyone so wishes.

Very nice, I take it it's interchangeable with the Greddy elbow?

Hiya Gordon,

I'm glad you are still over the moon about your rack, and you like the new product

Without either rubber, or poly bushes in place, then the majority of the vibration is going to be transmitted into the subframe. However this pales into insignificance with the amount of vibration transmitted through to the subframe via the engine mounts.

You know what would be great, if you included a bung for the IAT sensor and a plug. This way if you kept the sensor in the stock location you just put the plug in, and if you put the sensor in the carbon elbow you could just use the plug in the factory location.

The sensor bosses would be added at the time of ordering, as each of these is individually built any number of bosses can be added. All I need to know is the thread pitch and size.

The cast elbows are awful for adding sensors in, as there is only a couple of flat edges, and the wall thickness is so thin even the fine pitch of a WI injector pulled out

Very pretty piece, now you just have to start thinking about billet uprights.

I'm still saving for your manual rack, but this is pretty tempting.

Thanks for the great words guys

These are available for ordering now :-)

We are making 10 sets of flanges initially, but the carbon won't be laid as this depends on any extra sensors. Looking at a 2 week delivery time from placing the order once the flanges are here.

We have made carbon doors and tailgate too. They make the seibon ones feel as heavy as standard doors ;-)

Although as much as it pains me, I can't sell the doors to anyone without a cage, as there isn't any impact protection :-(

the tailgate is fine though :-)

will start a new thread tomorrow with these

Or if they can make the elbow, a full UIM to match. Pre smoothed out a la Xcessive style with no BOP's.

We are just finishing the LIM at the moment. This is a cast item, but we also ceramic coat it with a reflective coating as well as a thermal barrier. Reduces the heat, as you spend all of this money on an expensive intercooler...to then run it past a hot turbo and manifold..lol

This will come with our own billet fuel rails. Both Primary and Secondary.

It would be awesome to see some actual flow bench numbers for that lim vs the stocker.
