i am about to install my m2 med ic and was wondering what i do with my ast?

Remove it. Use the 86 filler neck and vent it to the overflow tank. I did this about two months ago. Ran the car at Road Atlanta 140mph+ with no problems.

hmm... and 2 months is enough time to prove it's safe? j/k, I know lots of people have been running with no AST for a long time but some people still prefer to have it.

matty, ask goodfellas, I think he's running an M2 intercooler with an AST

I fabbed up a 3-4 inch aluminum bracket to mount it to the front middle of the frame rail, between the M2 SMIC and the alternator. The oem lines were just long enough to fit.

I have an M2 large & kept my AST. Clamped it to the cold side pipe/coupler with a SS clamp.
