ASP Elbow??

does anybody have any info on this part. I have one and want to know what it's made out of. Also, on mine there is this little nipple for something. don't know what it was used for.

Nipple looks like it was originally intended for the accelerated warm up hose before someone put the barb fitting in. The block off part could be for a blow off valve.
