question about fuel pressure
What are the reasons for increasing the fuel pressure? By this I mean, on an aftermarket fpr, you set it at 0 psi in the manifold to 38psi in the fuel. I just spent a while searching through the forum and people were running different base pressures. Would it just be to help decrease the time your injectors have to stay open?

iirc increasing fuel pressure will also effectively increase the "size" of your injectors.
For example, by increasing the base pressure from 38-40psi to 48-50psi my tuner has effectively turned my 850cc injectors into 1000cc injectors, based off possible flow rate.. (as I understand it)
My LC-1 reads 10.3-10.5 when I am boosting to 1.1bar (according to the PFC) and I'm seeing a max IDC of about 74-77% while running 4x 850cc's (set at 50psi).
