I would guess that means the spring behind the apex seal isn't moving the seal enough to maintain smooth contact with the housing.

I'm sure the experts here can elaborate (or smack me down as needed)

maybe they are trying to say one of your apex's is out...

which means the engine is blown.

why was the car in the shop?

ummmmmm.... if your seal springs dont work, you motor needs to be rebuilt again! at least you didnt blow an apex seal! if its stuck, if might be from sitting too long and i dont know if you can fix thhat without taking the motor apart!

the motor will have low compression on 2 cambers if that happened on one apex seal but if more than one, good luck!

I'd call and get them to explain it to you... maybe a bad seal spring... bad spark possible for a redneck type explanation for a problem... maybe an injector not firing...
I'd go ask more questions...?

could be a sticking side seal, which is easily remedied. Sounds like you need to call that shop for some elaboration......

pfc cant run it... evil... more a pain in the ***... if you don't know much about 7's you probably shouldn't attempt it unless your going to pay someone for the conversion.... lots of welding fabricating and wiring. What shop built the last motor?
