Anyone's FD Speedometer/odometer not working?

Well my SPEEDOMETER isn't working.

Anyone know what might be causing this,
besides the speed sensor on the tranny??
is it a simple fix??

wondering if anyone else have gone thru this issue, before.
that can give any insight or advice

well at least there is a bright side..
My FD hasn't gained a MILE in a year..

stuck on 130K with 0 on the tripometer. haha

thanks

My speedometer works here and there. Sometimes nothing. Sometimes it works great. Sometimes it bounces around...Dont really know what is wrong with it though...

Ill bet if you searched you could come up with a bunch of stuff on the problem.

Gotta go through the diag process

You can't get a diagnosis over the internet. You must go through the process yourself. I replaced my speedo with a known good unit, and it still didn't work, so we took out the sensor in the tranny and stuck our finger into the tranny, and felt no gear to drive the unit. Guess what? Time to crack the tranny. At 100K, the gear split in two. It was expensive to replace, and I ended up replacing that one (after it was rebuilt) with another rebuild and I had my original rebuilt ( so I have a hot spare when I decide to race the car more often).

Bottom line, you've got to go through the diag process - no shortcuts, I'm afraid.
