Anyone use bar boost gauges instead of psi?

Ok I am set on buying the Defi BF gauges, I think they look incredible. The only thing holding me back is the boost gague only comes in bar and not psi, according to my research:
10psi = .689 bar
8psi= .5515 bar

How the hell am I suppose to get accurate readings with the bar gauge, especially when im trying to diagnosis some boost problems. Do you guys using .bar just kind of estimate that its at 10 psi or what? Just curious if it looks like it as big of a pain as its going to be. I did use the search and couldnt find anything I was looking for.

My Profec B Spec II is set to read in Bar (even though it can be set to display the equivalent of psi). It doesn't bother me. Even though I always talk about boost in terms of psi, it's not that bad. I just have gotten used to converting.

Get the "normal" Defi Link series gauges instead of the BF -- they are available in English units and are quite a bit cheaper to boot.

same here. I know that .83 is equal to 12 psi, .69 is equivalent to 10 psi, .55 equal to 8

You get used to it. Theres only a few numbers that you really need to know. If you are significantly over or under, then you have a problem....

.069 is equal to 1 psi or rounded .07. You dont need to carry it to the ten-thousanths

Since i bought the car I have been using a greddy boost gauge that is in bar. As long as you know that 1 bar is 14.5 psi, you will be fine. Also, like stated you can get the greddy profec b spec 2 to read in psi or bar.

BF gauge is in kilopascal unit (Standard SI unit) not Bar. I have one and I already used to it. .55kpa=8psi .69kpa=10psi .83kpa=12psi and .97kpa=14psi

0.55Kpa doesnt equal 8PSI tho. 0.55Kpa = 0.08PSI.

I think your gauge measures in BAR, since 0.55BAR = 8PSI

My bad. it should be 0.55x100kpa=55kpa=8psi

You may find older pressure gauge in Bar scale but the SI standard is in Pascal

I use the Bar, i like my re-amemiya little center gage, it works. You can't really tell but 0.8 is dead center at the top.
