Anyone in the U.S. insure their RHD through a normal carrier?

Title. Curious as to if anyone goes through a regular carrier, progressive, etc to insure their RHD car? I've been using Progressive for about half a year, and decided to go on my girlfriends policy to bundle things and get a bit of a discount. Maybe I forgot this part of the process when I added it to my policy, but they asked for a stated value and the chat rep had to get their supervisor involved because the chassis code wasn't seventeen digits when I talked to them today. They also asked for the stated value. Anyone have this happen before? Maybe I just completely forgot about this part of the process when I insured it when I first bought it, just looking for anyone else's experiences.

I have, they limited me to 35k stated value, also with progressive, anything over and they refused to insure it. They just have to enter the details by hand which takes time especially if the agent your talking to isn't experienced with it. Full coverage for my daily and my FD around 90$ a month in Northern Virginia. I did cross 25 though so big discount there and clean record for my girl and I.

That's what makes me wonder, stated value vs actual cash value vs agreed value. I've heard that with an insurance company and a stated value policy, if your car gets totaled they can pay you stated or actual cash value, whichever is less. So essentially you are paying a premium on top of your premium for no reason (if that is true.) I tried to get insurance through Grundy, but I don't have a daily driver for my girlfriend who lives with me. That will likely be a disqualifier.

I have my 92 JDM FD insured with Statefarm 40k agreed value, comes out to like $214 a year for full coverage. I also have my JDM Nissan Gloria insured with them as well.
