Anyone try these check valves?

I saw these on a thread somewhere.

McMaster #47245K32. $9.77 each. I might get four of them and replace all my check valves just to be sure. I'm not sure if it'll replace that metal one so I'll leave that one on right now.

If anyone has experience with these let me know and I'll get them. Or any other suggestions? Thanks!

No...haven't tried them...But they seem pretty expensive when you can pick up check valves that will work at Napa for like $3 bucks..

Really? Cool...see, that's exactly what I needed to know. So what Napa part # did you use? Same size? You've been using them without any problems?

If you are referring to the Help! brand of check valves, Max Cooper (and others) have experienced short term failure with those.

There's only a few check valves and you are likely to only have to replace them once.....

I bought the $10 check valves from McMaster. I thought about only getting their $5 check valves, but decided to go all out.

I had originally replaced my check valves with the HELP! ones from the auto part store. They cost around $3, but from reading everyone's experience with them, I decided to get a check valve that seems to handle the heat better.

I only did this a couple of weeks ago, so I can't comment on their durability.

Great...before I checked in on this thread I had already went to Autozone and picked up one Help Check Valve.

The check valve under the pressure tank was so hard to blow through so I figured I'd change it and maybe it'd fix my TCA...nope, same deal.

Anyways...now that I know these check valves won't last I'll just get the McMaster ones. $40 bucks for the set! Damn...just to expensive.

Well, thanks for all your guys help. Damian...nice valves but a little too much for me. I'd rather just have some simple plastic ones. =)
