Question anyone running Midpipe without Boost Creep??

That is with an intake, DP, Midpipe, and catback. I want to go with a midpipe or high flow cat...But do not want to run into boost creeping. Thanks

Thumbs up

I have M2 Intake, M2 downpipe, SR Midpipe, and a RB Cat-bak and run a Greddy Profec-B. The profecb works like a charm. There are a low and high boost setting on the ProfecB. I run a solid 10psi @ low and Solid 14psi @ high. But you can set it to whatever you need. No Creep at all.

I'm running RE intake, Pettit ECU, Pills for boost, and DP w/Open 4" Ti HKS exhaust. Boost 13-14(spike)-13 with no boost creep.

I ran on a cool night WOT 4th from 80 to 160 with a solid .9 bar on my HKS gauge.

I think the boost creep problem is over blown??? HaHa

That's it....gotta have one now!! I think I will just go with the cheap mild steel from RP. I'm sure I'll be taking it off and on frequently anyway. Need more Power....gotta have more power..hehe.

No boost creep here. I have upgraded turbos so that might change things.

btw, i'd go with the stainless its worth the extra dough.

I had creep before I ported my wastegates.

No I can set the boost to as low as 8psi and it stays steady with not creep.

HOWEVER, before I ported the WG I needed to run a restrictor plate in the exhaust and then I could only keep it steady at around 11 psi, with creep if it got colder.

Mike

p.s. does anyone want those plates?

Something i would do is have it ceramic coated, thermal barrierd, or jet hot coated etc. As with your down pipe. It does make quite a bit of difference with under hood temps. My .02, CJ
