Just waiting on a confirmation from her, and a few more comments from others on this thread. Also, if anyone knows the process to authorize a GB, please chime in.

Thanks

UPDATE:

We're a go for the upgraded berber mats, with "RX-7" embroidered. The embroidery can be in any of the originally listed colors (white, silver, black, red or blue), BUT the berber mats themselves (vs. the el-cheapo mats) are ONLY available in the following colors: black, dark grey, med grey, tan, and med tan.

I'm gonna PM a mod and try and get authorization to run the group buy. In the meantime, are we good to go w/ things as is (the mat color restrictions)? I don't think I saw anyone asking for a mat in a color other than black and tan anyways...

Thanks
~Ramy

i think we should be good with those colours (black and tan are all you really need unless you have a red interior... red mats would be a bit overkill though)

If I may I would like to extend a big thank you to FDNewbie for getting this organized and started I look forward to ordering a set of black w. red mats!

Rob,

Thanks for the pics. Looks like we made the right choice to go w/ the upgraded mats!

Oh and guys, no prob...it doesn't take THAT much work to get up and running. Besides, BlueRex was kind enough to offer to help me out. So between the two of us, I don't think it should be that bad at all.

As for me, I know I wanna see nice OEM looking mats in my FD, so I figured a couple of ya would want the same. I just hope everyone's happy w/ them when they get 'em.

Here's an example of the MAT colors so people can better decide. As for the embroidery colors, she told me it can be pretty much ANY color, but with RX7 mats, she said 80% of the people chose white and silver, and the rest (20%) red, and that's it. I figure those are the colors we're looking at too...

Exclamation

Just to clarify, those of you who posted interest and even gave out the color combo you wanted doesn't mean you were automatically added to the GB. You have to go the thread here and follow the instructions.

Thanks
Jason

I take it you ordered the regular mats she's offering, right? Not the upgraded (thicker) berber mats, right?

I'm surprised more people haven't jumped on the group buy after all the interest that was stimulated from this thread...

looks like the berber are the same as available here:

http://store.yahoo.com/floormats4less/rxav42ozbefl.html

and you can add a heel pad for $3.99 if you want.

Yea, what's the deal guys? 5 pages of "I'm definitely in," "Put me down for this," "I'm all over this" etc...then once the group buy is up and running, ppl disappear? Oh well. We only have the GB going for a week, so in a few more days, we'll go w/ however many we have.

Yea it does look like you can add a heel pad. Hmm...you guys who are actually ordering lol want me to ask her if she offers the heel pad, and for how much?

Posted this on the GB thread, thought I'd share it w/ you guys here too...

I'm sure we can. If she doesn't ship internationally, I'd have no prob shipping your mats to you myself, provided you pay for the shipping costs.

Well people were complaining about the mats being too thin, and no one said "no lets just do the cheap mats," so yea, only the berber at the moment. The price diff isn't that much between the two mats (given the GB), so hopefully it's not an issue.

While it's possible to run two separate GBs (one of the regular mats and one for the berber ones), I really wouldn't do so unless I knew there were a significant # of people who would join both. Like we said, so many people said they're in, but we only have 6 orders so far. But hey, if a bunch of you def. want the regular mats and will submit orders on the spot, we can do a GB on them too.
