Anyone have a dyno sheet from an all stock FD running stock boost?
If you do, can you post it up in this thread? I have this all stock, (Aftermarket air intake, 80mm HKS exhaust, 80mm catless mid pipe) RHD FD I just finished putting back together that I will Dyno this week to see exactly how much power its putting down..
The FD only has 57,000 KLM's and is running damn good now.. I had the stupid code 27 error ( OMP was bad). Was going to buy a new one.... as if you have ever had to change it on an FD you know it is HELL and its even harder on a RHD FD as the larger side of the sterring rack and the sterring rod is all on the same side... I did not want to change it to find out that the used one I installed was bad too.. I checked into the price of it new here in the USA and was not going to pay $1000.00. Earlier this year I had 2001 RZ 280HP GF-FD3S frontclip that I parted out, only 17,000 miles... Those came with a different Style OMP made by MIKUNI.. Mazda must have switched for a reason I figured...so this was probally an upgrade.. Sure enough after close inspection, even though its much different looking, I concluded it would work.. the pinouts and connector was the same as the early type.. I took half the front on the engine apart to get the damn thing on and once it was all button backed up, started the car and check for codes, code 27 was gone!!! Thank GOD as I was no really trying to change it again..
Anyway the car runs like a bat out of hell now, no more of that popping and jerking at 3000 RPM...The factory safe mode problem is gone and the car pulls hard all the way up the RPM band..
So if you have a Dyno sheet please pot it here as I want to compare the 2 after I dyno the FD this coming week.. I am going to use this car as a test and tune mule to see step by step how much power I can get out of it with bolt ons..
