Just wondering becuase over the summer I called ray and he said he dyno tunes power fc's now but he was all tied up and couldn't do mine at the time. Now I know of some people who have had their cars tuned by XS, KD rotary, and a number of other shops but I was wondering whether or not anyone here ever had their cars dyno tuned (not mail order maps) from ray. And if so what is their opinion on the tuning?

 

My power fc was tuned at S&R motorsports and I also have their s/s midpipe on my car. Great people to work with, I am very pleased and would do business with them again for my next mod.

btw...mich...you have no idea what your afr's are btw. yer flying blind with that tune by mail. all they do is guess what your car needs...its nothing more than a guess.

they dont have a dyno...but they do have access to one.

I spoke to them as well and they were very hesitant to do it and were booked for about six weeks.

i decided to tune it myself after that....and found success. its better that way.

the woman who answered did make an attempt to get me to send it to them for "tuning" LMAO...whatever...i told her i knew better and that I knew they could not accurately tune without having the car there...she let me talk to ray after that and he was decent enough...just very busy it seemed. Im glad too...cuz it forced me to learn about how to tune this thing myself along with fd racer and the good ole datalogit.

Actually, when it was done by SR the car was in California and it was done awhile ago. Right now I am running so pig rich I see dollar bills flying out my back tailpipe given the current price of gas.

Hopefully Sunday I am running it down to Ohio to slap on a dyno with a wb 02 and my datalogit.

 

Ive got an Power FC from them, and im really not satisfied with it, im trying to ge tthe program for my laptop to program it myself. Im having some trouble finding it though

 

We'll keep the dyno warm for you, but only on Friday and Saturday. Hmm. Have to check the post in the NE section about it.

 

Mich was the car ever strapped on the dyno and did ray ever tune it on the dyno or was it just mail order tuned?

I called ray over the summer and he said he has a dyno and that he does do dyno tuning on power fc. I know his maps are super rich but if he has never done dyno tuning then how can he even send out maps?

It kinda makes you wonder who REALLY tuned that 8 second racecar...
