Thanks... I had to take the seats out and center console... it's bolt in, but I haven't had time to bolt em in.. you'll also have to cut the shock tower covers, jack/tool cover and hatch cover...

Got mine yesterday. One thing that I would highly suggest to Kirk racing is to use some primer on the bars before they paint them. That paint just comes right off. Other than that, I'm pretty happy. The removable center section is indeed removable, as that was the first thing I checked on the bar, BUT, I don't know if it will be possible to remove it while it's in the car. No big deal either way. I took some pics of it dissassembled, and put together, in my living room, but I can't for the life of me get the file size small enough to post them here.

Chris,
The roll bar for Michael Tuccairone was shipped per your instructions to Air Energy who has now refused the shipment. The trucking company is only giving us 24 hours to resolve this before they ship the bar back to us (which is standard practice for trucking companies). If this happens, there will be a $100+ shipping fee which will have to be paid before the bar can be reshipped. The best option would be to have Mike go to the terminal to pick up the bar, but this must be done today. I have tried unsuccessfully to contact him by phone but thought it best to also contact you in case you have a better way to get in touch with him. The terminal number is 866-217-2370. I will continue to try to get in touch with him from here, but if you are able to reach him, please let me know.
Julie Stewart

Let me know what is going on with this michael

Awesome, I finally have mine sitting in my garage. Will have it installed in time for the Rotary Revolution. I think. So, everyone wish me luck: I have to get my bar mounted and powdercoated by next Thursday!!! Keeping my fingers crossed...

I am selling a Kirk rollbar. Price is somewhat negotiable and I am now willing to ship if necessary. Here is the thread...

Looks like someone lost a bar. The shipping company doesnt know where it is. If any of you got an extra bar by mistake please let me know so your fellow forum member can get theirs.

She sent me an email about it at 3:26 today so she is working with the freight company to find it. She is pretty good about calling people back so I'm sure she will call tomorrow.

Anyone have more pictures? Maybe some of the ones that mount in the bins or the 6 point cages?
Will Kirk make it out of Chromemoly for more money?

I haven't heard of them doing it. On my price list, I have the following listed:

1 ¾” x .120 ERW*
1 ¾” x .120 DOM*
2” x .180 ERW*

I can ask tomorrow if nobody knows for sure.

I just spoke to them today about a 6 point with removable front section and mounting in the bins. she said she would call me back with price. i would love to see a 4 point with inside the bins mount. see what that looks like

Every pic of this version I've seen requires the removal of the bins in the back. This makes sense if it is a track car only --otherwise it looks terrible. That being said I have a 4 pt that mounts behind the seats. I would be seriously interested in swapping with someone who has one that mounts in the bins. My car basically only sees track duty so this makes sense for me now.

PM if anyone is interesting and is in the NE/Mid Atlantic part of the country.

Ramon
