Anybody try Lucas High Zinc Racing Oil?

I've been using Castrol GTX (either 10W30 or 10W40) since 1999 on my car. Recently read an oil reformulation (https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generation-specific-1993-2002-16/you-need-know-about-reformulated-oil-revisited-again-july-08-a-770726/) and recommendation (https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generation-specific-1993-2002-16/oil-recommendation-863210/) thread that seem to indicate that I may not be putting enough zinc/ZDDP/ZDP into my engine (although with 2k OCI and over 109k miles on the clock does it really matter at this point?). Did a quick search on google and came across this:

http://www.discountfleetsupply.com/luc10621.html

It's 20W50 and claims to be "high zinc fortified". I assume that it's similar to the Valvoline Racing Oil which seems to be popular.

Let me know if you've used the stuff in your car.

Thanks!

I'm running Valvoline VR-1 (non-synthetic) SAE 60, which is probably cheaper and every bit as good (added zinc, phosphorus, etc)

http://www.valvoline.com/products/co...ng-motor-oil/6

I should have a used oil analytis report in another couple of months. What I found is that even 20w-50 thins out to the equivalent viscosity of 10w-30 in short order in a turbo rotary.

I can't find the zinc content for the Lucas oil to compare with Valvoline VR1 Racing which is .13% zinc content.

The "Plus" Racing Oil (Canadian variant) is 0.11 wt %, not sure about this particular product, it doesn't seem to be listed on the US site

The Valvoline VR-1 Racing oils do have higher zinc ratings that many others found at the local auto parts store.

I've been using Amsoil 20W50, which claims high zinc. They've got a 15W50 Racing version I've been meaning to try. A local auto parts chain stocks them, so it's convenient.
