I've used something similar on my old NA FC and the results were noticeable. My buddy used Seafoam in his 3kGT and he said it helped quite a bit.

Be careful where you put it in though as the car will put out a nice smoke screen for about 5min. Don't want your neighbors calling the fire department or something.

Ive used it on many piston cars and have noticed real improvements. I have been leary about using it on my FD. That seafoam stuff isnt a good lubricant and I wonder what it'll do to the housings.

wow i wish i woulda saw this thread b4 i jus used the seafoam...well all i can say as a test dummy.....i notice no problems with it...no odd ends or anything...i would beleive tho that the can it self might say something about not useing it on our cars, but it doesnt....i jus put it in a few days ago and no explosion or bad reactions to it...i'd say its fine....i feel that my car runs better almost.
sniffle

p.s. tho on a side note at start up i do have white smoke from exhaust...could be from that or maybe the fact that i havent start my car up in 7 months...

i would be a little weary bout putting it in the gas, it might wash out the oil coming from oil metering pump in the housings.

It is good in piston engine, smokes like you blew a head gasket.

I'm gonna seafoam my daily driver next week. The only caution I recieved was to run some sort of sealant replenisher afterwards since seafoam can dry out seals. Some have had experiences where it fouled plugs and O2 sensors as well, but that was only a small percentage of the users.

another option is Mopar Combustion Chamber cleaner, you spray the whole bottle into the intake, let it sit for 24 hours, run it for a while, then change the oil. I used it in a piston car before and it worked great. Supposedly works well on the valves and such. Maybe less risky than mixing with the gas?

Maybe premix a little more when you use this stuff??
