Any ideas??(Ryan, Dave)

Dave, after I talked with you this afternoon nothing much changed. The overflow tank didn't appear to have a crack so I put it back in and filled it up. I burped the system and filled the hose by the throttle cable, capped that, then filled the AST, capped that, and then I filled the filler neck in the coolant fill, waited for a few minutes and then capped that. I was hoping that the car would at least make it home(about 20 min.) and it did, but as soon as I got in my damn driveway the damn coolant buzzer came on Where the hell is all of my coolant going? I am not sure if this would help the car to overheat but I think that my air pump might be dead, when the clutch on the air pump disengages it screeches. If it were bad could that have anything to do with it? I guess I will pressure test it tomorrow, and see if that tells me anything. Oh yeah the coolant in the overflow tank was dirty as hell, could this mean a clog somewhere? I don't know I am just eliminating every possible scenario before I get a new motor. Thanks for all of the help guys.

Hey, you got the PoMan Water Injection. Why pay $1000 for Aquamist when you have this for free?

Better call up Ray at Malloy and reserve your reman motor. In the meantime, do the block weld.

Did you find a hole in the radiator? Ryan mentioned something about it to me earlier today. If you found coolant near it that would be the next place to start looking.

Dave, I had great news before I went to work and it is killing me to wait until tomorrow, but I just got home so I guess I will have to. Anyways, I pressure tested it up to about 17psi, and it held for like a minute and started losing pressure, and then it started to fall slowly with no leaks visible so I was like **** it is going into the motor through the damn seals. And then about 30 seconds later I hear a dripping and I look under and in one of the holes in the plastic protection piece under the car coolant was leaking out like it was it's J.O.B So I called Ryan with the news and he said that it sounds like it is definately a leak somewhere, so tomorrow you know what I will be doing I will keep you posted, thanks again for all the help.

P.S. Greg, I know it is not my place but damn dude I don't see why us guys in the NE section can't trouble shoot with each other, it is not like that section is blowing up with too many threads. I am not trying to be a dick or anything, but Dave and Ryan have helped me out a lot, along with the rest of the NE guys. Thanks guys

I think maybe Greg is doing this to benifit the other 3rd gen owners who would maybe find something in here useful. I agree though. I would prefer to keep it local if ya know what I mean. Call me if ya get it figured out Dustin. We will be at the track on Sunday if your interested in coming down.
