well did u change ur oil, if not do it, also each time u try to start ur car after a while, check ur plugs cuz they will get filled up will oil and get dirty and stuff, clean them with sand paper or somthing. also i heard this guy on the forum say wut to do if u think ur engine is flooded,
hold the gas down and turn it over for like 15 secs
then turn it over again with no gas down for 15
then do it for 10 secs no gas
then pump the gas twice,
then try starting it.
i think this about wut he said, its basically trying to get what ever liquids in the engine out and in with a new fresh start. hope i help lil bit

Adequate Spark
I know you said you are getting spark, but is it adequate. Whenever my pre-ei, pre-efi cars would not start, it was because it had recently rained. Changing plugs seemed to help a bit, but replacing the wires always did the trick.

MAP sensor hose. Black smoke, bad idle are typical symptoms. The MAP sensor is on the firewall sorta near the brake booster. Check to make sure there is a hose attached.
If you've run it like this it CAN flood it. Floor the accelerator, don't pump and crank it over. Do this for 10-15 secs a few times. Stop. Then try and start it like you normally do. Oops, just read rx7raca typed the same thing...
Black smoke = fuel
Blue smoke = oil
