Has any one have charging issues after sending you alternator case to get powder coated. The alt is not charging the batt. I have sanded all the areas that touch the alt and still nothing. I just want to know if people have done it and has it worked good for you. Thanks.

 

Same thing happened to me, my guess is I broke something like an idiot while disassembling it... So I just bought another one and left it dirty and ugly

 

No problems with mine after PC.
Nothing that I can think of off-hand should affect operation. Have you double checked your re-assembly?

 

I had mine took apart and rebuilt professionally when I powder coated mine. I got it back and it ended up having to get a tow cause it wasn't charging right. I brought it back and he fixed it for free. So yea sounds like something is up with it.
