Ok...like a dumb *** I posted this same thread in the for sale section...here goes again..

Is there anything special I need to know when replacing the alternator other than take the old one out and put the new one in? any special hints or tips to make the job easier?

Loosen the belt, the tensioner is on the alternator, unbolt the 3 bolts, unplug it, replace with new one. its is very easy

well i just got a new one put in my car, and the only advise i have is to make sure that you get all your ground wires back on tight to the adaptor on the alternator, other than that it's real easy.

Yep, I would suggest people check them when they are working in the area, just to make sure. I replaced one, but wish I had checked them all while I was there...

Not that I'm having any problems, but just to be on the safe side.

How many of them are in there anyway?...

I could just see two of them and then a smaller looking one about half the size right around the pressure chamber area right under the idel screw..

There are 4. Two are green/white and two are green/black and they are about $26 from the dealer.
